Why are my nails peeling?

They just peel off! The hard part of my nail has slivers of white which peel off.

Sorry I can't explain it that well. Why are my nails peeling?
i have the same thing happen to mine!

i think it's because the nails aren't as strong as they probably should be.

there's a special hair and nails vitamin you can get at the drug store that will help make them stronger.

also the sally hansen section in the drug store might have something too.Why are my nails peeling?
Avoid putting your hands much into water,as they becum brittle.

its also bcoz of lack of calcium...eat bananas, drink milk substantially.

keep a transparent base coat applied thru out.

also rubbing your 1 hand nails against the other hand nails also helps...wen ever sitting idle,or travelling you can do this excerise for 10-15 mins.

Your body is not getting enough nutrition. Take vitamins. Also I agree with the nail polish comment. Doing your nails (fake nails, polish..) will cause this also.
This happens to me as well.

It could also be because you don't get enough calcium.
if you use a lot of nail polish remover, it does that.
