I have extremely dry skin and often get outbreaks of ecxzema, and am sensitive to loads of stuff. I've never had such weak nails though. Can anyone help me, please?Does anyone know of an effective way of repairing my nails - they are wrecked, flaking, peeling.?
My Ex used to use Knox Gelatin which I was told helps strengthen the nails. She never said that it did not help but then again she never said much to me anyway!!Does anyone know of an effective way of repairing my nails - they are wrecked, flaking, peeling.?
Any kind of nail strengthening stuff should work. Put it on every few days
I suffered with childhood excema, This also affected my nail beds to produce ripplesaccross the nail.
I would suggest you change your diet, in a way that you can test your own reactions to certain foods.
I found that if I had too much milk, I got the small spots under my skin. Also oats, sugar, some fats and proteins can have the same effect.
If you can do a skin patch test this will speed things up for you.
Once your body stops fighting against harmful foods, you will get better.
Try different creams. I found the best for me was washing in cold water, with ';simple'; unperfumed soap - (and not that often either) - then applying vasaline.
There are herbal solutions to inprove nail strength as well. - But keep them short untill your condition improves - which it will.
I know it's depressing - but I'm an engineer now, and for 99% of the time am cured - because I watch what I eat, and wash as I said. I just have to watch out if it starts to get dry.
I had this problem until I started taking Vitamin tablets with Minerals., and also used a Nail Tek nail repair kit , from a local salon, or you can buy the Nail Tek conditioner seperately, ( about 拢10 a bottle) I would reccomend it. I have never been able to grow my nails before , but this worked for me.
i am in no way an avon fan but.......they do something called strong results like a clear polish. and its brilliant!!! i cant do without it.
Use Prostrong it works quickly also ensure enough calcium in you diet
