Nail Polish peeling off in big chunks?

I'm using 2 coats of clear Sally Hansen's Hard as Nails. It doesn't chip it just seems to not adhere well. It loosens from the tip of the nail and then peels off in one or two big chunks.

This happens with both of my Hard as Nails bottles....what's going on??Nail Polish peeling off in big chunks?
It may be the product, but it could also be oils on your nails when you paint them. Use nailpolish remover to wipe away any natural oils from your nail just before you paint them. Adding a coat every 2 days or so may also help.Nail Polish peeling off in big chunks?
Store your nail polish in the refrigerator to help prevent it from getting bubbles and to make it last longer. Prior to application, allow the polish to reach room temperature.

Do not shake the bottle to mix your polish! It creates a lot of bubbles you don't want. Instead, roll it in your hands. This way you get a nice smooth coat without all those nasty air bubbles.

After you polish your nails, immerse your nails in a bowl of ice water to help speed up the drying time. This sets the polish so you don't have to worry as much about smudges. (It is best to wait at least three to four minutes after you have polished your nails before immersing them in the cold water).

When applying two or more coats of nail polish, always wait for the previous coat to dry before applying the next coat. If you don't do this, your nail polish can look thick and layered and may take a lot longer to dry.

To achieve a nice, even coat of polish, cover each nail in three long, even strokes: center, left side, right side. Starting in the middle allows the polish to flow to both sides, and with less polish on the brush itself, the sides are finished cleaner.
